Transcript

Upon successful completion of your CE courses (usually within three to four weeks of receipt of your answer sheets), you will receive a transcript, an identification card stating that your certification is active until the expiration date listed on the card, and a certificate with a new expiration date.

No credit is given for test scores below 70%. If you do not make a minimum score of 70%, you must repeat the SAME course within the current renewal year to attempt to raise your score.

Your transcript is the official record of your continuing education.  You should maintain your transcript in a secure location.  Refer to it when selecting courses for the next renewal year to assure you do not take a course you have already completed.

Your transcript reflects Clock Hour credit for only the number of Clock Hours you purchased.  Excess Clock Hours you complete will not appear on your transcript and cannot be held over to the next renewal year.

The following information is on your transcript for courses taken beginning with the 2006 renewal year cycle:

  • Your name, address, and student identification number
  • A list of NCCT CE courses you have taken
  • For each CE course taken, the following information will appear on the transcript:
    1. Date the exam was graded
    2. Course number
    3. Course title
    4. Number of Clock Hours*
    5. P.A.C.E.® number, if applicable
    6. Number of P.A.C.E.® hours**, if applicable
    7. Score received on course test

     * A zero (0) Clock Hour in the Clock Hour column indicates a failed course.

**A zero (0) in the P.A.C.E.® Hour column indicates a failed course where no P.A.C.E.® credit is given.

If you completed any P.A.C.E.® accredited courses, the official P.A.C.E.® documentation is included as part of your NCCT transcript. This information may be used to document the number of P.A.C.E. approved course contact hours you successfully completed.  This information is often needed to fulfill state certification/license requirements, if applicable.

Your transcript also includes a summary table with renewal year, number of Clock Hours required, number of Clock Hours purchased, number of Clock Hour credits earned, and, if applicable, the number of P.A.C.E.® contact hours earned.  The table will include information beginning with 2006.
