NCCT is an independent certification organization that has tested more than 395,358 individuals throughout the United States since 1989 for competency in these roles: Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, Insurance and Coding Specialist, Medical Office Assistant, Patient Care Technician, ECG Technician, Tech in Surgery, and Certified Postsecondary Instructor.

For most NCCT certifications there are six qualifying routes, allowing graduates of approved educational programs or individuals with qualifying work experience to apply. To earn an NCCT credential, candidates must meet all eligibility requirements and pass an examination based upon knowledge, skills, and abilities required at job entry. NCCT certification testing is designed to validate candidate competence, not only for the employers that hire them but for the public good. READ MORE
