Recertification with NCCT is easy. Simply log in to your Recertification/CE Dashboard to pay your recertification fee and complete the required CE. The payment of the fee grants access to the required amount of CE contact hours (CH); there are no additional fees for completing NCCT CE online or for submitting outside CE for recertification credit*

NCCT’s Recertification Purpose
The NCCT Board of Testing requires the continuing professional development of its certificants to ensure that individuals who hold
NCCT credentials maintain an ongoing commitment to learning, keep pace with developments in the field of healthcare, and strengthen
their knowledge and skills. The mandatory recertification process provides certificants with the opportunity to demonstrate the
reinforcement and expansion of their knowledge and skills, retain their knowledge of current practice, and assure the public that
they have met current professional standards of qualifications and knowledge for practice required to maintain certification.

NCCT has partnered with AORN as a source of quality continuing education courses for surgical technologists. In accordance with its Outside CE Course Submission and Acceptance Policy for recertification, contact hours provided by AORN can be completed and submitted to NCCT for outside CE approval for recertification credit.
